Four Pink Floyd Concerts remastered by me personally here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpgTLHo8cx8OagaIj8q_-YJMdwNc0etQf

This is my 4K remastered version of the 2019 release of Pulse, remastered and upscaled to 4K at 50 frames per second. Pulse (stylised as Pโ€ขUโ€ขLโ€ขSโ€ขE) is a concert video by Pink Floyd of their 20 October 1994 concert at Earls Court, London, England during The Division Bell Tour. It was originally released on VHS and Laserdisc in June 1995, with a DVD release coming in July 2006, with the latter release containing numerous bonus features.

In 2019, a newly restored and re-edited version was released on Blu-ray and DVD as part of The Later Years box-set; this version was given a standalone release on 18 February 2022. The Blu-ray version is the first release of Pulse in HD, although it is upconverted from the original SD video recording and remains in its 4:3 aspect ratio.

Please note : Unlike the โ€œDelicate Sound Of Thunderโ€ concert, Pulse cannot be shown in full screen. Why you ask ? A fair question. When Delicate Sound Of Thunder was made, they recorded it on film, exactly the same way a Hollywood blockbuster would be recorded. When they released it on VHS back in the day, the cut the sides off so that it would fit our (then) 4:3 ratio televisions. Luckily they kept the master untouched and it was released in full widescreen in recent years.

With Pulse however, Pink Floyd made a bad decision and recorded it on cheaper videotape at 4:3 for the home video market. Not knowing of course that in the future there would be such a big appetite for artists from the 60โ€™s, 70โ€™s, and 80โ€™s. So unlike DSOT there is no master copy that has the sides on it. It is possible that in the future with the advances in AI that a full screen version could be produced but as it stands sadly no (there are some desperate people who will stretch this version across a screen making everyone look short and fat, and some that will crop this to 16:9 which means cutting a large part of the screen out. Why would you do it ? Enjoy whatโ€™s here.)

Thanks guys for one million views ! It makes the hard work of doing it worthwhile. And thank you to the copyright holders who have been very fair. And don't forget to check out the Delicate Sound Of Thunder Concert remastered here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbammHvdv-M If you are able, please consider a donation to my channel. https://ko-fi.com/austech4k
My channel cannot be monetised under Youtube's rules and I have numerous software subscriptions to remaster videos which aren't cheap. I am also a disability pensioner who gets paid about the same amount of change that is on the floor in peoples cars, which also doesn't help.

I love how unselfish David G is in his style, such as allowing Tim Renwick to play some wonderful solos. He doesnโ€™t need to hog the spotlight.

I first heard this amazing mind blowing phenomenon early 70s. Smoking Acapluco Gold, drinking PBR. THIS is Not a band that is even near all other bands then or now. This band freezes your soul , stops all frequencys in your head and blows your mind to the heavens, beyond outer space! It leaves you in a dream state. Theres not one piece that Pink Floyd plays that is not Pure Pink Floyd. I dont think theres anything else anyone can say!

Mid 60's to late 70"s (some early 80'd) are the best bands ever. No computer aids, just pure talent, dedication and perspiration. 95% of the sogs I listen to are older than me! Thanks for posting this. Really appreciate.

I wished I couldโ€™ve seen any of his concerts. Any of Pink Floydโ€™s. The very original lady singer of the band must of withered away all his new ish singer are good but I preferred the 1 st time I ever heard of Pink Floyd that lady singer. I think 2 were sisters . The guy in the video at the insane ward looks very similar to Sydney barrett who had a mental illness and died sadly. So if this is a small odd tribute to the man in that video, well done. My girlfriend got to see one in knebworth, she got free concert tickets but not me .. I like this concert better than the recording one knebworth. Musically instruments are clear sound system is great, great oncore . Long live Pink Floyd and any of the members past and present. David is a gifted voice and writer and musician. He showed up his school. Pink Floyd is widely known in every household like salt and pepper on the table. It must be here. Everyone starting out playing guitar starts ur trying to play one of their singe. Great organists and the drummer wow all the members are great. The light show wow technology at its finest. Everything was an entertaining at its best. Lot of money invested they have in all of it. Theyโ€™re in synch. thank you for airing this.

Ima get called mean and bully or reported (maybe) but i HAD to skip great gig in the sky. Im high off that pendrick lamar x jimi pendrix ya feel me and that singer who is doing the soul sistah part has an uncanny valley botox scary appearence and the performance felt hallow and felt. I might get called weird, fair.

Saw the opening night of the Division Bell tour in Miami Joe Robbie Stadium. It was made all the more amazing when mist began to fall and lit up the the sky with the gold lasers shooting through it. Saw them 3 more times in the US on that tour then wrapped it up with a trip to London for the Earls Court show. Actually saw them the night after the Pulse show was shot. Nothing even comes close to having been a a live Pink Floyd. show!!!

  34. I've been reading the reviews for this concert. Reminds me of the way "Black Sabbath," "Depeche Mode" or "Wings" were treated in the past. Why does it take three or four decades for most rock critics to recognize what the rest of us see immediately (i.e., two hours of sublime genius)?
