I’ve always thought it odd that somehow Alien Ant Farm continue to have a career when they’re primarily known as somewhat of a one-hit wonder, and that one-hit was a cover to begin with. But I guess there’s an actual fanbase out there who are really into Alien Ant Farm’s deeper catalogue. I propose we start calling diehard Alien Ant Farm fans “anties” because I really want to ask: Anties, are you okay? Are you okay, anties?
That’s the dumbest joke I’ve ever written for MetalSucks but I’m standing by it.
Anyway, time to break out your wallets, anties, because Alien Ant Farm have announced a series of U.S. tour dates for May. They announced the tour on Friday on Instagram, stating simply:
“HERES A QUICKIE RUN IN MAY IF WE’RE IN YOUR AREA, PLEASE COME SAY HI”
The tour starts with their appearance at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio on May 8 and makes its way down into the southeast United States to finish up in St. Louis, MO on May 17. Tickets are available on the band’s website already, so don’t miss out on your chance to see the only surviving musicians to have a radio hit called “Smooth Criminal” if they’re coming by your area on the tour. See the full list of dates below.
