Michael Schenker is about to unleash his newest album, “My Years with UFO (50th Anniversary Celebration 1972-1978),” on September 20th via earMUSIC.

After 50 years, Michael is still dazzling fans with his fluid-like playing and bluesy vibrato runs. “For My Years with UFO,” Michael traversed through space and time to revisit classic UFO songs he wrote while with the band. To help capture the spirit of these UFO classics, he enlisted some heavy weigh musicians including Slash and Axl Rose [Guns ‘N Roses], Joel Hoekstra [Whitesnake], Roger Glover [Deep Purple], Kai Hansen [Helloween], Erik Grönwall [ex-Skid Row], Joey Tempest and John Norum [Europe], Biff Byford [Saxon], Jeff Scott Soto, Joe Lynn Turner [Rainbow], Carmine Appice [Vanilla Fudge, Cactus], Dee Snider [Twisted Sister] and Stephen Pearcy [RATT].

With their help, Michael carefully curated a collection of eleven UFO songs to recapture UFO‘s signature hard-hitting and high-energy sound. These tracks represent the absolute best of UFO‘s extensive musical catalog, including staples like the pulsing, adrenaline-fueled “Doctor Doctor,” the epic, metal opus “Rock Bottom,” the anthemic “Lights Out,” and the swaggering, riff-heavy “Too Hot to Handle.” My Years with UFO offers longtime and new fans a chance to experience these classic tunes in a fresh, revitalized form.
