I find this song and video very interesting. At first, I found it to be hysterical. A kvlt black metal fan singing alone to poppy house music is incredibly funny. But then I caught sight of how much the song resonates with the (supposedly) drunk singer. He's very clearly upset singing it, and the actor does an amazing job showing it. The man at the table in front of him was perplexing to me at first, but I think I've got an explanation for why he disappears at the end. The singer chose this song because it means something to him, and my interpretation of the lyrics is that the entire song is about not being pushed away emotionally from a person. It seems like the man that disappeared is older than the singer. It definitely seems like the singer was mourning (figuratively or literally) their father, either because they don't talk anymore and the singer regrets and resents the fact that they weren't closer or because the father actually has died and he's upset that their relationship could not be mended.
Regardless, great song great video.
