I have mad love for these fellas. I respect Robert’s addition. I appreciate all the blood, sweat, tears, and self harm these guys have been through. The pain that their families have gone through. I just wonder, how do they deal with the true evil that has plagued Hollyweird and the music industry? Or are they apart of that and live within that control. Many of you will say, “HELL NO THESE GUYS ARE THEIR OWN CREATION! They deserve all the glory! But at what cost my friends. Their souls? I would like to hear it from the mouths of Metallica. And how they truly feel about the “MUSIC INDUSTRY”. Are they comfortable in their own skin? Are they suffering behind the curtain? Will they denounce the evil that plagues the music business? That’s what I want know.

Metallica wasn’t great, their previous guitarist Cliff Burton was. When he died, they never again made good music

Sorry to you all Metallica fans but had it not been for Cliff starting it all. We might not have had this band. Just saying. RIP MISS YOU PAL!

Creative story… but they had already rocked out a million times at plenty of venues to earn their way to that stage. They didn't give 2 shits the entire time and were just building up the tension. Internet channels are real good at trying to rewrite history but they were not nervous at all and were already the band.

Why is this in black and white? I do remember that we had color tv in 1989. Its not the Beatles on Ed Sullivan.

Hmmm… My vote is still for any of Ozzy's work.

But the 80s was Metallica's peak for sure!

Eminem said the grammys picks you on political points. Metallica has always played the people as if they rebels when they are pawns of the industry

Metallica is a mullet-rock joke that got out of hand. Maybe this is the day ironic hipster fandom accidentally spilled out into middle schools.

The Grammy Award went to Jethro Tull rather than Metallica which shows how the man was against metal
