This is my mama's song ❤. I lost her in November. When she had her heart surgery she was in bad shape. She was put in a place for rehabilitation and occupational therapy. It turns out this place was just a huge, dirty, neglectful excuse of what was supposed to be a nursing home. The patients would fight in the hallway, and staff was no where to be found. There were bags of old linens and diapers by the doors. There were cameras in the vent in her room. The staff were nasty and tried to treat her like she was senile, when she was only there for physical therapy. It was horrible. They fought me, but I took her out of there in only two weeks and did her excercises at home with a nurse's help. She was terrified of that place. She was patient and room number 9 at the facility. The craziest part is she found this song in that facility. I cried when she sent it to me on messenger. She thought she was going to die in there. I showed up the next day and told them to sign the release forms and took her home.
