Deafheaven is now streaming “Heathen” from their upcoming record Lonely People With Power. The single mixes that overtly shoegaze sound found on their last record Infinite Granite with the heaviness of their older material, making for one hell of a track. “Heathen” comes alongside a music video directed by Muted Widows.
Deafheaven will release their debut on Roadrunner Records named Lonely People With Power on March 28. Lonely People With Power was recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen and was mixed by Zach Weeks of GodCity Studio. Lonely People With Power includes additional vocal contributions from Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher and Paul Banks of Interpol.
Deafheaven recently announced a North American tour with Gatecreeper and Trauma Ray as the openers. The tour kicks off on April 19 at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA and wraps up over one month later on May 23 at The Nile in Mesa, AZ. Tickets are available here.
