Why do they always start Brave This Storm much slower than the studio version, then speed it up as the song goes along? Is it intentional, to build energy more effectively or something? It just sounds really sloppy to me, and strange coming from a band like Trivium who are so talented and technically insanely good.

can somebody tell when did his voice blew?
if you watch the Silence In the Snow documentary Paolo talks about how his voice was blown out for this festival and this is when they decided they had to take a break from screaming for the sake of the band, and then relearn how to correctly scream & sing properly. They said this festival was a painful struggle for Matt vocally. That's why they basically did all "singing" songs and Corey is screaming everything.
His voice sounds weird here because this is where he blew his voice out and he had to painfully push thru this show.

wow, probably the worst set list the band has ever done. I wonder it they left out all the classic old songs because of the festival line up and subdued crowd? the chose the easier Crusader era songs because they were less straining on Matt's voice? or they didnt do any old classics because the fill-in Drummer they had for that tour couldn't play them?
