Watched this at the Midnight Movies the year it came out, 81 I think. Stoned to the bone and I’m sure alcohol was involved. Rewatched it a couple years ago with my adult sons( I was straight this time!) and it was just as great. The classics never go out of style.
Listening to this should makes you wonder why Don Henley (golden throat) and Glenn Frey (goat narcissist) never let Felder sing the lead on any Eagles songs??

For those that don't know. There was a competition between Don Felder and Sammy Hagar as a battle of the "Heavy Metal." Apparently Sammy Hagar won. My personal preference was this version of "Heavy Metal." I thought it had a cool beat to go along with the drums and course guitar.

This is the first R rated movie I went to by myself. I wore sunglasses and a dark windbreaker when I bought the ticket. In the lobby there were church ladies with clipboards looking for people to sign their petition against this movie. "Boy, I picked the right movie to come to!", was all I could think!
