In what’s shaping up to be the U.S. black metal festival you won’t want to miss, Fire In The Mountains Fest 2025 is announcing a super special event, as Blackbraid will give attendees a chance to hear Blackbraid III ahead of its release.
The indigenous black metal act was already going to be performing at the festival, but now festival organizers and the band’s mastermind Sgah’gahsowáh said they came together to offer this unique experience to anyone attending the event.
“Today I am very pleased to announce that I have partnered with Fire in the Mountains to curate an exclusive pre-release event for my forthcoming full length Blackbraid III. Festival goers will have the opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of its release.
“I am extremely proud of this album and absolutely cannot wait to share it with you, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to debut it than this beautiful festival deep in the heart of Blackfeet Nation territory. Very grateful to be a part of Fire In The Mountains, see you there!”
Taking place from July 25 to 27 next year, the festival is centered around community, music, and the natural world. With the whole proceeding now set at the Red Eagle Campground in northwestern Montana, it’s going to be an idyllic space to enjoy extreme music.
And since this festival is taking place on Indian land, it’s important to note that the festival is a completely dry event. That means no booze, drugs, or any other intoxicants. All the festival will be is a long weekend out in the wilderness, enjoying nature, and subjecting yourself to crushing metal mayhem.
If you’d like to book a metal weekend in the woods and attend Fire In The Mountains, you can get your tickets right now.
