Belgian death metal act, ABORTED, has announced the immediate departure of drummer Ken Bedene after a 15-year tenure since 2010. The reasons for his exit are currently unknown. Former BENIGHTED drummer Kevin Paradis will fill in for their upcoming European tour, which remains unaffected by this lineup change.
Band said in a brief statement: “Effective immediately Ken Bedene is no longer a member of ABORTED. The upcoming European tour is going forward as planned with blast duties being handled by none other than Kevin Paradis.”
Bedene made his debut with ABORTED on their seventh studio album, Global Flatline, released in 2012. He went on to perform on five additional albums with the band, with his final appearance being on Vault of Horrors, released in 2024.
