SAVATAGE Performs Live For The First Time In A Decade (Video)

After a decade-long absence from the stage, SAVATAGE made their highly anticipated live return yesterday, Saturday, April 19th, at the Monsters Of Rock festival held at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil.

The lineup for this performance and SAVATAGE‘s upcoming spring and summer shows includes Johnny Lee Middleton (bass), Chris Caffery (guitar), Al Pitrelli (guitar), Jeff Plate (drums), and Zak Stevens (lead vocals).

Founding member Jon Oliva is unfortunately absent the lineup. He suffered a serious accident in 2023, fracturing his T7 vertebra in three places. His health has been further challenged by diagnoses of multiple sclerosis and Ménière’s disease.
