Though they were met with some pretty sad news last week, the dudes in Kublai Khan TX won’t let that stop their efforts. This morning they announced an upcoming U.S. tour that sees Drain, Gideon, and Guilt Trip all joining them for 27 stops along the way.
Kicking off on September 18 in Louisville, Kentucky, the band will play various venues across the U.S., with the whole shebang coming to a close on October 26 in Los Angeles. Along the way, they’ll play festivals like Louder Than Life, Furnace Fest, and When We Were Young and make stops at major cities like Chicago, Philly, Houston, Denver, and more.
The tour announcement comes days after Kublai Khan TX learned that their guitarist Nolan Ashley was no longer capable of playing the band’s music due to an injury he sustained. They’re going on without him, opting to continue using guitarist Nicholas Adams as his fill-in until a more permanent member is found.
