Sinners has been making some serious waves at the box office recently, having grossed loads of press and $161.6 million in ticketing sales worldwide thus far. If you haven’t seen it yet, perhaps checking out Jerry Cantrell‘s contribution to the soundtrack will change your mind.
Cantrell teamed up with composer Ludwig Göransson for the song “In Moonlight”, which you can check out below. On the song, Cantrell said: “I had a fun opportunity come up to work on creating a song with Ludwig Göransson and Lars Ulrich recently. ‘In Moonlight’ expands on the main theme of the Sinners score. Ryan Coogler made a really cool, multilayered film, and it was my honor to contribute to the project. Thanks, fellas!”
And for all those confused – Ulrich drummed on the Sinners soundtrack alongside Cedric Burnside, Sharde Thomas Mallory, and Chris Mallory.
