This year’s edition of Sick New World was one hell of a show, full of awesome performances from massive legacy bands and up-and-coming acts alike. After the first show having logistical issues and things not going particularly great, this year’s event was pretty damn good. So you can imagine our excitement when we learned of the lineup for next year’s show — especially when you consider the more exciting parts of that announcement.
Like previous years, Sick New World 2025 will take over the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Taking place on April 12, the show will feature more than 50 bands spanning hard rock, goth, and alternative metal. Of particular note are the headliners Metallica and Linkin Park. Along with those huge names, the show will also feature the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Gojira, Meshuggah… the list goes on.
But what’s incredibly exciting, at least to me, is the shadow reveal that both Acid Bath and Tomahawk are apparently reuniting ahead of this show. Talk about burying the fucking lede (which I’m totally guilty of doing too…). The addition of those two bands alone pretty much make the ticket price and travel worth it. At least to me, it does.
