Probably one of the least expected news, but very much true. The legendary ’90s sludge metal band Acid Bath have confirmed that they are making their return to the stage in Las Vegas next April as part of the Sick New World Festival. It will be their first show in nearly three decades. Additionally, the band’s vocalist Dax Riggs also announces the release of his new solo album, dubbed 7 Songs For Spiders. It has been set for January 24, 2025 official release through Fat Possum Records.
Comment from Dax on the show announcement: “The Bath will return April 12, 2025 at Sick New World Festival. Our heads are literally EXPLODING! We’ll be playing select songs from our two full length LPs for this special one time show. See you there fiends, let the blackness roll on….. Sammy Duet, Dax Riggs and Mike Sanchez a/k/a Acid Bath.”
