Raising Fear…my favorite Saint album!
Anthrax got very lucky !!
WOW! I never thought I would see this concert again thanks! I was 15 when I saw this on MTV when it was a real channel and if I'm not mistaken it was Halloween night also. Thanks again for posting this, it brought back some great memories and still a fan after all these years…
i too, taped this on VHS the night it aired, but I believe the show was from a day or 2 before!?
I saw them I believe opening night in Washington DC.I was 15 and wanted to see Helloween.I bought my tickets from the box office and not ticket master and to my shock they had front row seats available. I've never been this close before. Helloween were great. Slapping the lead singers hand during the opener I'm alive I'll never forget. I didn't know jack about Armored Saint but the moment they hit wow. Most energy of any show I've been to besides the master of puppets tour. When I went to slap John Bush's hand he grabbed my hand and started to pull me up on the stage. He let go at the last second. Oh the memories.
I was there, loved that concert!
I Was there''FUCKING FANTASTIC''''''''''''''
Armored Saint should have been the headliner on this tour. They blew Grim Reaper off the stage
Three tours I wish I was alive to see. Hell on wheels tour and Ultimate Revenge 1 and 2. Fuck this warped tour bullshit.
blastoise porra
I still have this on a VHS that i recorded when i was 15 when it originally aired.
Awesomeness!!
The night I saw this concert Armored Saint was the opener, All three bands were at the peak of their playing and popularity. Metal videos from these bands were everywhere before this tour came came about. All three vocalists could have broke some windows ala Rob Halford. John Bush does not sing as high as those other guys; but I digress. They dont have tours like that any more. Well not in the US anyhow.
Only God knows how great Dave Pritchard would have gotten. He was quite a great guitarist, and had died too soon. He could have been amazing us with some awesome fretwork in future music.
I've been into this band since 1984. I bought "March of the Saint" on vinyl. 32 years later, and they are still going strong. Bassist Joey Very ALMOST replaced Cliff Burton in Metallica after his death. Phil Sandoval got in a fight with Dave Mustaine, and Dave broke Phil's arm. Dave felt bad, and gave Phil a new guitar, as a token of remorse. I hope the Saint marches on many more years!
Rest in Peace, Dave
A true metal god
great audience
my main local band that got me in to Metal.most bands need twin guitars but Dave delivered the tunes in the most beefy owesome way,may god grant him a great place in heaven.Armored saint probably the best metal band in america today.
I"ve Always Loved The saint….March….of the Saint…fuck yeah
I remember watching this on HB. Man I recorded it on VHS. Ran it through my stereo. I loved this show. RIP Dave. You were a huge influence on me.
I do that little trick he does on his guitar at the end of every song. Part of Dave's influence.
Dam 30 years. Where did the time go?? There dam sure aren't any good metal bands like this. Just a handful left. Makes me sad.
Great picture and sound
Most of todays bands and artist like Seether and Korn probably dont even know what Heavy Metal is.
"Armored Saint" what is that? a superhero?
I saw them on this tour with Grim Reaper and Helloween at Bogart's in Cincinnati, OH. Kickass show m/
the band that could have been……..they had everything to be better than metallica.
I saw this tour when it came to the Capital Theater in Passaic NJ.
It's really cool to see myself in the audience back in 87 the good old days!! Rip David.
They were supporting Raising Fear on this tour. Long live the Saint
Loved this concert! Thank you for posting it.
john bush!!!! always awesome!!!!!! greets from northern germany/ baltic sea !!! 🙂
I saw them at Metron Harrisburg PA on this tour!
Saw this tour in Wichita, KS at the Cotillion Ballroom. Excellent show, and AS crushed it. Met AS and Helloween and got their autographs at an in-store record signing earlier in the afternoon. After the AS set, Prichard was walking around in the crowd in a leather trench coat just being super cool with everyone who recognized him.
This is not the full concert. They also played Book of Blood at this show. It's on the Trip Through Red Times dvd.
Dave was up there with Eddie, randy and Jimi on guitar…
Best formation so far
And there you can hear…. VHS Sound is unbeatable
Man Dave was on Fire!!! RIP
Absolutely great! Still one of the very best live bands on this planet! R.I.P. Dave
