Logistics is once again rearing its ugly head and throwing a spanner in the works of another metal act, as Japanese kawaii-metal outfit Babymetal announced that their highly anticipated album Metal Forth will be releasing two weeks later than originally anticipated.
According to the band, the release of their follow up to 2023’s The Other One will now take place on June 27, rather than June 13. The explanation for such a delay was that the band wanted to synchronize the album releases between domestic and international markets.
Not exactly the most exciting reason for a delay, ever.
Metal Forth will feature 10 new songs, with many featuring guest spots from artists like Electric Callboy, Tom Morello, Poppy, Spiritbox , and more. The first single, “from me to u” features Poppy and can be heard btomorrow.
Starting on June 13, the band will embark on a North American tour with Black Veil Brides, Jinjer and Bloodywood as the supporting act. That will come right after their run of Europe and the U.K. with Poppy and Bambie Thug. You can find all those dates and links to get your tickets below.
