BEHEMOTH Drummer INFERNO To Step Out of 2024 European Tour, JON RICE To Step In Once Again

Date:

Behemoth is set to commence their summer European journey on July 11 with Inferno, the drummer, unable to join due to health concerns. The role of Inferno will be assumed by Jon Rice (Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, former member of Job For A Cowboy), who has previously stepped in for Behemoth during live performances between 2017 and 2022.

“Unfortunately, Inferno has to remain at home to focus on his health issues, which compels us to have Jon Rice on drum duties!” mentioned Nergal, the frontman of Behemoth. “Let’s send well wishes for a swift recovery to Inferno and hope that Jon surpasses expectations to deliver a commanding performance!”

Behemoth is commemorating their 33rd year as a band this summer through the tour, inclusive of a few festival appearances alongside collaborations with groups such as Testament, Gaerea, Pestilence, and more!

“Exciting plans await us this summer!” remarked Nergal previously. “We eagerly anticipate our return to Europe to celebrate the 33 years of Behemoth. Brace yourself for surprises and lots of excitement!”

Why the celebration for 33 years? It’s simple – Behemoth has officially surpassed the existence of their close companion Jesus Christ. Explore the complete schedule of dates below and secure your tickets here.
