to all the Christians: the point of this song is that love is the most important power in the universe. your god even says as much, tho not in quite so few words. Alestair Crowley taught that we can do anything we wish, as long as it doesn't harm anyone or violate their free will… and let's be honest here, that's precisely what the Mosaic law in the Old Testament was all about. Loving your neighbor and doing nothing to harm them. if y'all would get out of your heads, ditch the dogma, and learn, you all would stand to grow so much… i've found that Christianity in particular limits personal development so much that it's stifling. i was a Christian for a long time, and when i started pursuing personal development i realized that the ceiling is so very low in that religion. we're all like plants, and the more we grow the bigger the box we need. metaphorically speaking, if we stay in a small pot as we grow we will inevitably become root bound and will eventually die because of the limitations. don't get me wrong, you're free to believe what you wish, but i refuse to stay somewhere that keeps me from growing into the person i want to become.
