BLACK SABBATH fans initially feared dynamic ticket pricing for their July 5th Villa Park Stadium show. Now, with tickets sold out, the problem has become dynamic hotel pricing.
BirminghamLive reports Birmingham hotel rooms are priced 725% higher for the night of the BLACK SABBATH concert compared to the previous Saturday.
For example, a “superior” double room at the three-star Apollo Hotel on Hagley Road, booked through Hotels.com, costs £619 the night of the concert, compared to just £75 the previous Saturday.
Even large chains are inflating prices. The Travelodge on Broadway Plaza, for instance, charges £319.99 on July 5th, but only £53.99 a week earlier.
