BLACK SABBATH Fan Shells Out $7500 For Two Tickets, Says They’re ‘Beyond Priceless’

BLACK SABBATH‘s final show, scheduled for July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, is shaping up to be a historic event. Dubbed “Back To The Beginning,” this concert will mark the culmination of the band’s groundbreaking career and a celebration of their enduring legacy.

This event will be a historic reunion for BLACK SABBATH’s original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—playing together for the first time in two decades.

The legendary heavy metal band will headline a special one-day festival at Villa Park, showcasing numerous bands they influenced, such as METALLICA, PANTERA, SLAYER, GOJIRA, and ANTHRAX.

A South Wales dad, Alex Jones, spent nearly £6,000 (approx. $7500) on two “ultimate” tickets to BLACK SABBATH‘s final Birmingham show. He and his daughter Gwen will see the metal legends, along with METALLICA, SLAYER, and others, from the side of the stage, calling it valuable father-daughter bonding.

He told Birmingham Live: “There’s something beautifully poetic about watching the final chapter of BLACK SABBATH unfold alongside my own spawn, who’s inherited both my love of metal and appreciation for the darker side of life.

“I know £2,932.50 might seem like selling one’s soul, twice, to some, but witnessing this congregation of metal royalty from the side stage, in Aston of all places? That’s beyond priceless to me.

“Imagine my daughter’s face when I told her she’d be watching not just the original SABBATH lineup, but also METALLICA, SLAYER, PANTERA, and practically every legend who ever held a guitar in anger. It was certainly a moment.

“Being able to share this gathering of metal titans with my daughter Gwen and watching her witness this historic moment from this privileged side of stage vantage point, that’s the real dark blessing here,” Alex added.
