Brent Hinds might be out of Mastodon, but that sure as hell doesn’t mean he’s slowing down musically. Hinds recently returned to the stage for his first post-Mastodon show, and now he’s back with a triple bill featuring all three of his bands!
Hinds‘ bands West End Motel, Fiend Without A Face, and Dirty B & The Boys will play a show at The Garden Club at Wild Heaven West End in Atlanta, GA on April 18. Hinds has still not commented on his departure from Mastodon, though we go know for sure that he won’t be on the upcoming Mastodon record.
Hinds and Mastodon parted ways on March 7, at which point the band issued the following statement: “Friends and Fans, After 25 monumental years together, Mastodon and Brent Hinds have mutually decided to part ways.”
“We’re deeply proud of and beyond grateful for the music and history we’ve shared and we wish him nothing but success and happiness in his future endeavors. We are still very inspired and excited to show up for fans in this next chapter of Mastodon. As we move forward, all 2025 touring plans will remain intact. We look forward to seeing you on the road.”
