CREED Unveils Re-release of Human Clay Including Complete 1998 Live Album & Various Versions Of Hit Songs

Creed has been making headlines recently with their reunion frenzy, signaling the arrival of a reissue! Indeed, Creed‘s mega-successful album Human Clay from 1999 is set for a reissue, featuring alternative renditions of “Higher” and “With Arms Wide Open”, a cover of The Doors‘ track “Roadhouse Blues”, and an entire unreleased live performance recorded in San Antonio, TX back in 1999.

In terms of potential new Creed material, guitarist Mark Tremonti disclosed in an interaction with journalist Ethan Dometrius that there were new compositions in progress circa 2012, but he believes there is room for improvement within the band.

“We attempted to reunite around three years prior, just before the COVID era, which somewhat postponed things until now. However, it has always lingered in the background for us. Every time we engage in new project promotions, there is a consistent inquiry about fresh Creed music and tours. It would be a shame not to reconnect and revisit that experience. I sense that ample time has elapsed, and fans are eager to witness Creed once more, which excites us greatly.”

Tremonti further stated: “During our most recent gathering [over ten years ago], we nearly concluded an entire additional album, which remains dormant on my laptop awaiting exploration. Nevertheless, I honestly believe that if we initiated new music creation, our output could surpass that. We will monitor the situation and see how things unfold.”

Creed has an extensive array of tour dates lined up for the remainder of the year. Be sure to grab your tickets here.
