Fruit de la réunion de différents membres des groupes de death et de black metal Dissection, Swordmaster et Ophthalamia, Deathstars voit le jour en Suède en 2000. Deux ans plus tard, la formation sort un premier album. Synthetic Generation s’écoule très bien, d’abord dans son pays d’origine, puis dans le monde entier. Des guitares impitoyables couplées à la voix grave du chanteur Whiplasher Bernadotte, voilà la marque de fabrique imparable de Deathstars.

Edit: Habe mich gefragt, seit wann Deathstars ein weibliches Mitglied haben. Etwas später wusste ich: haben sie nicht. Allein das würde mir das komplette Konzert versauen.
