DESPISED ICON Is Working On Their First New Album Since 2019

Despised Icon is working on their first new record since Purgatory in 2019. No word on when we can expect to hear it, but the band promised on their Instagram they’ve been writing between tours. At least Despised Icon gave fans the Déterré EP in 2022, which featured some rarities from their 2004 Syndicated Murderers EP and early split with Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus.

“We want to thank you guys for all your great responses on who we should tour with and where we should play!” wrote Despised Icon on their Instagram. “It’s tough for us to get back to everyone individually, but we’re paying attention, and we’re working on delivering some of these promises this year.

“Also, just letting you guys know that we’re working on some new music. It has taken us quite a bit of time, but we’re making good progress and we’re stoked on it!”
