Disturbed is a multi-platinum-selling heavy metal band renowned for their hits “Down With The Sickness,” “Sound of Silence,” “The Vengeful One,” “The Light,” “Stricken,” “Land Of Confusion,” and “Indestructible.” They worked with artists like Myles Kennedy, and Lzzy Hale — amassing billions of global streams and achieving 5 consecutive number one debuts on the Billboard Top 200.

Lyrics:
Listen, everyone
The time will come when all of us say goodbye
Feel that aching in your heart
Leaving you broken inside
But we’re never really gone
As long as there’s a memory in you mind

So now go do the best things in life
Take a bite of this world while you can
Make the most of the rest of your life
Make a ride of this world while you can

Take the ones you love
And hold them close because there is little time
And don’t let it break your heart
I know it feels hopeless sometimes
But they’re never really gone
As long as there’s a memory in you mind

So now go do the best things in life
Take a bite of this world while you can
Make the most of the rest of your life
Make a ride of this world while you can

And hold on to memories
Hold on to every moment
To keep them alive
The world’s greatest tragedy
Souls who are not remembered
Cannot survive

So now go do the best things in life
Bring the fight to this world while you can
Make the most of the rest of your life
Shine your light on this world while you can

And hold on to memories
Hold on to every moment
To keep them alive
The world’s greatest tragedy
Souls who are not remembered
Cannot survive

And hold on to memories (Hold on)
Hold on to every moment
To keep them alive (Keep them alive)
The world’s greatest tragedy (Hold on)
Souls who are not remembered
Cannot survive

Today is 6 years since my brother passed suddenly. 6 months after our M♥️M died and leaving 4 young children. It’s been rough at times and happy times. I shared this song to them in hopes they realize he’s always with them, remember all the memories with their dad and make new memories.

A few months ago I was diagnosed with an ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm at the exit of my heart. Can’t say enough how important it is to hold onto memories as your life can change in an instant. Live your life as tomorrow is never promised.

I have suicidal ideas almost all the time. When I start thinking about em, I just listen to this song and "Reason to Fight" and the ideas and want for them just disappear. Thank you Disturbed. Loved ya since Sickness album

I lost my beloved girlfriend 3 years ago from a drug overdose. She was only 26 years old when she passed. She not just only my girlfriend. But she was my best friend. The first time I heard this song not after she passed. I’m not afraid or ashamed to say this but I cried. However, despite my loss. This song also gave me the extra strength to get through the grief I had endured. And as a huge fan of you guys. I am forever grateful. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful song

Today is my brothers birthday, the first since he died last September. This song just popped up on my feed and it hit pretty hard. I will Hold on to Memories of him forever.

I grew up with this song. It was during the vietnam war, and tome going so slowly being separated and afraid that time would do so much to take away the feelings. My boyfriend came back so affected by the war. He was my soulmate but life was never the same when he came back. War had taken its toll. Dancing to this song knowing how deeply you loved that person yet fearing the loss is something i will never forget. Takes me back. Im 75 now and the intensity of the longing love moments is still there.
