ESCUELA GRIND Utilizes Clear Vocals With Varied Impact On “Turbulence”, Upcoming Album Set For Release In October

Following the release of two tracks earlier this year, Escuela Grind is now presenting “Turbulence” in conjunction with the reveal of their latest album Dreams On Algorithms, scheduled for October 18th. Dreams On Algorithms was crafted at GodCity studio under the guidance of producer Kurt Ballou and mastered by Nick Townsend (Dr. Dre, Betty Davis).

Concerning the fresh single, listeners should be ready for some soothing vocals. These vocals are mostly satisfactory – they fit within the song’s context, yet there seems to be a lack of definitive impact. They merely exist. This may disappoint fans of Escuela Grind, as the band usually possesses a keen sense of where a song’s hook lies and how to emphasize it.

“Upon hearing this track for the first time, the deviation from our usual style will be immediately discernible,” remarked Escuela Grind vocalist Katerina Economou. “We took a leap of faith with ‘Turbulence’, and after numerous live performances over the past year, we were prepared to amalgamate all those influences.”

“The incorporation of clean vocals may catch some off-guard, especially coming from a grind/hardcore ensemble, but following our tour with Napalm Death, we felt inspired to infuse that element into our music in a similar vein. We aimed for a gritty, infectious chorus that we can sing at all our forthcoming festival gigs, and I hope our fans appreciate the song as much as we do.”
