For Better or Worse, Linkin Park is Back in the Studio

It’s been only four months since the release of Linkin Park‘s latest album From Zero, but it seems like they’re back in the studio working on more tunes. During the latest episode of their LPTV series that they posted yesterday, there’s a very brief moment where you get to hear what could be brand new music.

The snippet comes near the very tail end of the clip in which vocalist Emily Armstrong is in the booth and singing just a handful of seconds of the aforementioned new track. Not a whole lot to go off of there, but it’s enough proof to show that they’re at least noodling around in the studio. Whether anything heard on the clip will ever be used in a final cut is still to be determined and we may not get a full-length release for a while still, but yeah — they’re working on new stuff.

Now, this news may be polarizing to you guys. It really all depends on how you feel about: Linkin Park as a band; Emily Armstrong as a vocalist; and the apparent connection to Scientology that the band now has because of their new vocalist’s involvement. Plenty of people were willing to overlook those issues, but plenty of people were totally not cool with it.

As it stands, Linkin Park has a buncha tour dates set around the world to support From Zero. If you’re so inclined, you can check out the list of dates below, grab your tickets today, and get out to see them live.
