From A Second Story Window reunited in 2023 with vocalist Will Jackson, who originally fronted the band between 2005 and 2008. From A Second Story Window has now announced they’ve split with Jackson and brought in a familiar face – former vocalist Sean Vandegrift, who fronted them between 2003 and 2005.
From A Second Story Window commented: “After an incredible year since reuniting, From A Second Story Window announces that vocalist Will Jackson will be stepping down to focus on his family and personal endeavors. The four of us wish Will nothing but the best. Always our friend, always our brother. Will is truly one of the best to ever do it, and bringing this band back to life with him has been an exciting and fulfilling journey. Thank you for everything, brother!”
The continued: “We couldn’t imagine continuing FASSW with anyone new. Having Sean back as an original member is beyond exciting for us. With his return, we’re taking the band in a heavier direction, and we can’t wait for you all to hear what’s coming next.”
Jackson added: “Dear FASSW Family, after much reflection, I’ve decided to step away from the band to focus on my family and personal creative paths. My time with FASSW has been an incredible journey, filled with unforgettable moments and the support of so many amazing people. I am deeply grateful for the good times shared on stage, in the studio, and everywhere in between with my brothers in FASSW.
“While this chapter is closing for me, I will continue cheering the dudes on and look forward to seeing what they create next. Thank you all for your encouragement and love along the way—it has meant more than words can express. Here’s to the road ahead for all of us. With love, Will Jackson“
