GENE SIMMONS Quietly Cancels Solo Tour Dates, Suggesting Poor Ticket Sales

KISS legend Gene Simmons has unexpectedly canceled multiple dates on his solo band tour, leaving fans puzzled and frustrated.

Ticketholders for select shows on GENE SIMMONS BAND’s North American tour received an email on Thursday, March 20, notifying them that the concerts had been canceled.

“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event,” the emails read. “You don’t need to do a thing. We’ll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as funds are received from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days.”

Gene Simmons‘ official tour page initially listed five cancelled shows: Anaheim’s House of Blues, Auburn’s Muckleshoot Casino Events Center, Magna’s Great Saltair, Miami Beach’s Fillmore, and Houston’s House of Blues. Subsequently, fans have reported receiving cancellation notices for shows in Tallahassee and Denver, indicating a larger number of affected performances.

The Moon, a venue in Tallahassee, Florida, hinted at a complete tour cancellation, stating:“Good day. Well, not so good with this news… the Gene Simmons tour has been cancelled.”

While the KISS icon has yet to address the situation, many are left wondering what led to the abrupt decision.
