GHOST‘s latest studio album, Skeletá, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, earning 86,000 equivalent album units in its first week in the US, Billboard.com reports. Traditional album sales made up the majority (77,000 units), with over 44,000 vinyl copies sold.
Skeletá‘s No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 marks a significant milestone, making it the first hard rock album to reach the top since AC/DC‘s Power Up in 2020. The album’s first-week vinyl sales are also record-breaking for the hard rock genre in the modern era (since 1991) and the third-highest for any rock album during that time, only outpaced by BLINK-182‘s One More Time… and BOYGENIUS‘s The Record.
GHOST released their new album, Skeletá, on April 25 through Loma Vista Recordings.
GHOST kicked off their European leg of its 2025 World Tour on April 15 in Manchester, United Kingdom, and is set to conclude on May 24 in Oslo, Norway. The North American leg of the tour will kick off on July 9 in Baltimore, Maryland, and finish on August 16 in Houston, Texas.
