Ghost is now streaming their newest track “Peacefield”, though interestingly the YouTube cut of the single starts after the whole choral intro. Still, this song is a total banger and should convince everyone – now that we’re three songs deep into the Skeletá single cycle – that this new record is gonna rule. Trust me, I’ve heard it about a million times at this point.
On the single, Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge said to Metal Hammer in a recent interview: “Because the record is going to slalom into darker subjects, I wanted to set a tone of hope in the beginning. I wanted to add a hand to the listener: ‘It will all be fine, but we’re gonna go sideways now and go on a little trip.'”
Pre-orders for Ghost‘s new record Skeletá – due out April 25 – are available here. Ghost‘s world tour just kicked off on April 15.Tickets are available here.
