Here’s Your First Taste Of NINE INCH NAILS’ Tron: Ares Soundtrack

Nine Inch Nails – not Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross as they’re usually billed when it comes to soundtracks – is scoring Disney’s new movie Tron: Ares. You can check out the first trailer for the movie above, which features some brand new Nine Inch Nails material! It’s not much, but we’ll take any new Nine Inch Nails that we can get right now, at least until the new album comes out.

Tron: Ares is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Jeff Bridges, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson. Disney hasn’t said much about the movie just yet, but this is what we’ve got for a synopsis thus far: “Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”

Nine Inch Nails also recently announced their long-rumored world tour, named the Peel It Back Tour 2025 alongside openers Boys Noize. The tour is Nine Inch Nails‘ first live outing since 2022 and will kick off June 15, in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena, wind its way through some festivals, and ultimately wrap up on September 18 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA.
