JENNIFER YOUNG Confirms DAVE GROHL Fathered Her Child

Jennifer Young, a 38-year-old rock music fan from Los Angeles, has announced that she is the mother of Dave Grohl‘s child, Page Six reports.

Young, originally from Florida, stated that the 56-year-old FOO FIGHTERS singer fathered her daughter, who was born on August 1, 2024. The child’s birth certificate reportedly lists Grohl as the father.

In a social post issued on September 10, FOO FIGHTERS frontman admitted: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

In October, it was reported that FOO FIGHTERS are planning to go on an “indefinite hiatus.”

The band unexpectedly canceled their scheduled performance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with only three days’ notice.

Hellfest founder Ben Barbaud also revealed that the band was originally slated to perform at the festival.

Discussing MUSE‘s headlining performance, Barbaud explained, “FOO FIGHTERS cancelled their summer tour. They were offered to me on a platter. A month ago, I was offered to program them with a handful of other European festivals.

“FOO FIGHTERS having cancelled their summer tour, MUSE was called in as reinforcements. I accepted because I was missing a headliner on Friday and because the Hellfest audience is more and more open. With age, I too have matured, I am less sectarian.”

Grohl, often hailed as one of the kindest figures in the music industry, shares three daughters with his wife, model and TV producer Jordyn Blum, whom he wed in 2003. His eldest daughter, Violet, is a touring member of the FOO FIGHTERS.
