letlive. promised a 2025 farewell tour and they’re keeping that promise! letlive. has just announced their sincerely yours farwell tour to kick off in June, featuring headlining shows and appearances at major festivals including When We Were Young, Vans Warped Tour, Louder Than Life, Jera Open Air, and 2000 Trees.
letlive.‘s 2025 lineup features founding vocalist Jason Aalon Butler alongside longtime guitarists Jeff Sahyoun and Jean Nascimento plus Sage Webber (Point North) on drums and Skyler Acord (Issues) on bass.
“I think this is all happening out of necessity. The boys and I have expressed our need to play letlive. music again based on where we are in our lives individually and how the collective spiritual theme between us has aligned.” Jason Butler explained. “Also, if you’ll allow me to be presumptuous—I believe the world could use the ll.ove. Besides, soul punx never dies.”
“We came from a time of building an audience in grassroots venues. I am grateful to be able to enter a new chapter of letlive., where our life experiences in the past few years can offer a new and exciting experience for our fans,” said Jean Nascimento.
Jeff Sahyoun added “letlive. represents a part of my life that refuses to be silenced. Coming back to it feels like fulfilling a calling—one that reminds me of why I ever started all of this in the first place.”

For those unaware, letlive. abruptly broke up in 2017 stating at the time “there will be no further activity for the foreseeable future.” letlive.‘s lineup at the time was vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, bassist Ryan Jay Johnson, guitarist Jeff Sahyoun, and drummer Loniel Robinson.
At the time, letlive. wrote: “We have been granted opportunities and experiences beyond anything we could have ever imagined and we are well aware that none of the aforementioned would be possible without you. Your support, investments, and genuine belief have been nothing short of inspiring which is what allowed us to create these works while enduring the unsettling ebb and flow of career musicianship.
“With this in mind we would like to take this time to exhibit said transparency and explain that over time a divergence in views and aims has developed within the camp – and, for the moment, the impact that has on letlive..
“As a group, there will be no further activity for the foreseeable future. We want to thank every single person that we were privileged enough to make a connection with through this vessel. We will no longer write the soundtrack, but the most important element, the idea, will continue as long as you allow it to. You are and always will be letlive..”
Then in April 2024, letlive. announced they’d be reuniting for a tour in 2025. At the time, they stated: “We shouldn’t have left you without one final dope beat to step to. Two-thousand and twenty-five. [T]o our friends that we never got to say goodbye to – we’ll see you next year to do so.”
It’s worth noting that letlive. also released a remixed and remastered version of their 2013 album The Blackest Beautiful in 2024.
