Italian doom metallers Messa have been making waves with their unique style that pulls from Mediterranean elements. Apparently their specific metal cocktail has caught the attention of one of America’s biggest name metal labels. The band announced their signing to Metal Blade Records yesterday.
Writing on their social media accounts, Messa had this to say about their signing to the historic label:
“We’re glad to announce we’ve joined forces with legendary Metal Blade Records. We are beyond stoked to become part of the incredible legacy of this label, marking their catalog with our music. Since 1982 Metal Blade has put fundamental metal artists on the map, and being in this labels’ roster is a big honor for us. We can’t wait to share some glimpses of what we are working on!”
Metal Blade then commented on their Instagram post saying:
“Stoked to have you guys as part of the family!”
If you’d like to celebrate the monumental signing with the band, you can catch them on their upcoming tour dates in Europe.
