There aren’t very many places on the planet that Metallica hasn’t played. I mean, they played fuckin’ Antarctica, for crying out loud! Yet one of the few regions that will remain Metallica-less until the end of this year is the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain.
Earlier today, the iconic metal band announced they’ll be playing Bahrain’s Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre on December 3. The show predates the band’s previously announced plan to play Abu Dhabi a few days later at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.
At least this time, Cryptopsy won’t be able to beat them to the punch.
As for the rest of the band’s touring plans, they’ve got the next round of dates for their ‘M72 World Tour’, featuring support from Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies on the first night, as well as Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills for the second night at each city.
