OBSTRUKTION Brings The Violence On New Single “Death Comes Near”

Swedish purveyors of hardcore-tinged violence Obstruktion has signed with Suicide Records and is now streaming their complete and total assbeater of a new single “Death Comes Near”. The single is from ‘s upcoming new record The End Takes Form, due out May 28.

“With ‘Death Comes Near’ we wanted to channel the raw power and darkness of Swedish old-school death metal but deliver it through a hardcore lens,” said Obstruktion of their new single. “Thematically, the song is deeply personal for several of us. During the writing process, many of us faced profound losses and battles with sickness in our families and close circles.

“That pain and inevitability of death became an emotional foundation for this track and the entire album. It’s heavy in every sense of the word — musically, emotionally, and thematically. This song is both a tribute to the sound that shaped us and a reflection of the experiences that have tested us as individuals and as a band the last couple of years.”
