PanterA – Cowboys From Hell – Solo & Outro
I don't care what anyone says, they got a #1 album with far beyond driven and did the unthinkable and went nastier and completely left with great southern Trendkill. In metal, that's never been done. They were the best 7 days a week.
Thanks a lot for this! This was my first show almost 25 years ago.
I hate that glaring insanely bright light coming from behind them. Hate it, otherwise I love everything about this,.
It’s a Pantera AIClike Jar Of Flies concert intro. Sounds awesome!!!
Damn, I was 10. If only I had been born like 4 years earlier I'd have been there.
I was at this show, but barely. There was a snow storm that night and I had just turned 17 and our parents would not let us drive the 60 miles out of town in a snow storm. On top of that my and my little step brother didn't have any money for gas. I robbed my coin bank and got around 7 dollars which was just enough to get there and back. We had to stop 3 times and ask for directions but we got there just in time to see pantera start. We also didn't have any weed which really sucked but within 15 minutes of them starting these really cool guys in front of us smoked about 7 joints with us, I wanted to stop after 4 but I didn't want to be rude I was so thankful for the emense generosity. Thanks for the ticket Brandon
I stole a ticket from my older step brother to see this show. Ha ha Brandon!!! Kiss my a$$
No body surfing allowed. 😂
I would sell my soul for this concert
The real big 4…Phil, Dime, Vinny and Rex! Will never be another! Had the privilege of seeing them on the Far Beyond Driven Tour…Unreal experience..
Hey! Can anyone please help me figure out the name of a Pantera song I cannot figure it out! It's a super basic song with Phil just speaking the lyrics? I think it might be on the great southern trendkill
9:11 Was that Dime running behind Phil? Hilarious
This was the year I saw them in Miami. That show was awesome I was 17 years old in high school and then I saw it in the year after at ozzfest. Damn good performers..
A week later I saw on the news that Phil had overdosed I think it was in Texas. I couldn't believe it because I was like damn they were doing good I just saw them and then this happens? I'm glad they got back up on their feet and I'm so sad that they're not all together to this day
One thing that used to mess me up at concerts is the damn fog machines. That shit used to make me so sick 🤢.. it looks cool but damn breathing so much of that and when you're right there on top of it just sucks… I didn't mind not being able to hear for 3 days after a concert that was rewarding 🙉😵👊
What other band in the last 5 years has crowds like they did?
I was there, and this is awesome, I also seen white zombie at the memorial 'and seen slayer there to….wish I could find footage of them
I was there. I believe this was with Neurosis and Biohazard. Neurosis blew everyone away, jaws hanging open. I still have a Biohazard guitar pick I found on the floor. I also saw Pantera play here previously with Type O Negative and that's when I met Dime. He called my friend an asshole because he didn't take the picture fast enough.
7:35
I'm about to own this on DVD🔥🔥
The Great Southern Trendkill was always my favorite Pantera album, and this tour they did in '96 to support it was fuckin' crazy. My only complaint is that they didn't play the song "Floods" until much later when they were touring for Reinventing the Steel (or at least I never saw them play it until 2001…) Dime shreds super hard during the epic guitar solo and it always blows people away. I also wish they played "13 Steps To Nowhere" from Trendkill for this show, but I think they only played it a handful of times during this tour because there's only one video I'm aware of where they play it. At least we got "Sandblasted Skin" in the setlist for this one though.
Is this one of the only times they played Suicide Note Part 1?
Suicide note pt II. Phil just screamed randomly throughout the entire song the only part I heard lyrics was descending down 😂
Dimebag is such a force on that guitar
Band plays like fuckin machine🤟🤟🤟
THIS SETLIST FUCKS
Best live concert ever ! PANTERA lives forever
FUCKING OUTSTANDING. GREATEST BAND EVER. THIS LINE UP ONLY.
It's very evident why Phil had back problems he was moving like a jackass on stage looking at this makes me wonder about his lies.
RiP Vince & Dime
I graduated high school in 1997 in Omaha. Probably didn’t see this one but definitely one on this tour. Saw them 6-8 times total. Best band ever
Was there, on this tour, 96, they came through Boston, fuckin best show of my life… I can't wait to die, and meet Dime! I'm a Cowboy from hell!!!
Can we just appreciate how HAPPY St. Dime was while playing guitar. Cowboys from hell is a perfect example. Dudes’s just having FUN 💯
Como essa banda faz falta….
I saw them on far beyond driven tour and great southern trendkill
lost my back stage pass i had for this show autograhed by the whole band. but still have memories of it from this video
Saw em b San Antonio the night after Phil's od they tore it up 🤯👊
ANSELMO TIENE LA MEJOR VOZ DEL MUNDO DE META TANTO EN GRAVES COMO EN AGUDOS , ADEMÁS TIENE UN CARÁCTER BRUTAL , CON TODO MI RESPETO HACIA DIMEBAG Y LOS DEMÁS.TITO VOCES DESDE VALENCIA SPAIN ❤
Whenever Pantera was on tour they made a stop at Hara Arena in my hometown of Dayton, OH about every 4-6 months and I went to every one of them. They knew we loved them, and they showed us nothing but love in return. Best days of my life.
No 'gates'
Overdose Era
There really wasn't a weakness in the band. The only imaginable thing to make it better would be another dime bag
I think I was at this show. Did Crowbar open?
PanterA for life! The Abbott brothers, never forgotten! 🎸🤘🏻🥁🕯🙏
My back hurts every time I see Phil jumping up and slamming onto the stage. I'm like Phil stop it man you're going to regret it!!
20 bucks for a ticket those were the days
