The second annual Punk In The Park San Francisco returned to the Cow Palace this past Saturday, May 3, 2025 and Metal Addicts was there to bring you some very exclusive shots from this festival.
The Festival brought an all-star lineup of punk rock bands including headliners PENNYWISE, along with SCREECHING WEASEL, LAGWAGON, COMEBACK KID, GOOD RIDDANCE, DEAD TO ME, MANIC HISPANIC, RKL, THE QUEERS, CHANNEL 3, THE SIDE EYES, KNOCKED DOWN and more. Bands performed on two stages, with no overlapping set times. Punk In The Park San Francisco headliners PENNYWISE are known for their energetic live shows and anthemic songs including their signature “Bro Hymn.” The band has amassed an international following with their relentless touring and a melodic, high-energy sound fusing classic punk, surf punk, and blistering hardcore.
Resolutely working outside the margins of the mainstream, PENNYWISE has emerged as an enduringly vibrant staple on SoCal radio airwaves and the worldwide festival circuit, while influencing countless bands over the years. The outdoor punk rock and craft beer event offered craft beer sampling ($15 add-on purchase for those 21+), showcasing the best local, regional, and national craft beer, hard seltzer, and cider from Noon to 3:00 PM.
Since expanding from the original Southern California event in 2022, the second annual Punk In The Park San Francisco follows highly successful events for Punk In The Park – American Road Trip in additional cities including San Diego, Orlando, Ventura, Phoenix and Denver. November’s Punk In The Park San Diego show received rave reviews from the media, with OC Music News calling the festival “one of the most successful punk events in recent history.” Elsewhere, Top Shelf Music Magazine noted, “This wasn’t just a celebration of punk’s history—it was a showcase of its bright future…this was more than just a concert—it was a cultural moment.”
Whether you came for the music, the beer, or both, Punk in the Park – San Francisco was an excellent experience for all ages. You could see fans of all ages and long life punk fans enjoyed the day with their family, kids, and friends. Punk in The Park is produced by Brew Ha Ha Productions (BHHP), renowned for their diverse, award-winning beer-centric events and music festivals across the United States, including Punk In The Park and the landmark 2023-2024 Punk In Drublic presents NOFX Final Tour, among others. As for now there will be three more “Punk In The Park” events in different places of USA:
June 28th, 2025 in Portland OR
July 18th-20th 2025 in Denver CO (This will be a three days festival)
September 27th, 2025 in Worcester, MA
