They may be calling it quits next year, but Refused aren’t done just yet. Not only did they release an anniversary edition of their seminal record The Shape of Punk to Come, but a special version of that same record featuring other bands covering songs from that album was released today as well. Oh and they have a farewell tour planned for next year.
Well earlier today they dropped a music video for the track “The Deadly Rhythm” more than two decades after the song’s initial release. Featuring swing dancers and the like, it’s a cool looking video that shows the band’s more artistic side of things. They’ve always been a little artsy, so that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, really.
As for the other part of this story, they added another date to their aforementioned farewell tour. Now there’s a stop in Buffalo, New York in the North American leg. The band will be touring the globe in 2025, so any added North American dates are always welcome.
The updated list of tour dates will be available below the video.
