It’s long been known that death metal motherfuckers Revocation have been hard at work on their follow up to 2022’s Netherheaven, but we’ve not really heard much about it. Well, during their ongoing European tour, they’ve decided to bust out some new tunes and holy shit. If you like Revocation but wished they would slow things down and get super sludgy at times, you’re going to enjoy the hell out of the track posted below.
During last night’s show in Malkweg, Amsterdam, the band pulled out a new track titled “Confines Of Infinity”. And right from the get go, it’s apparent that it’s the kind of track designed to make your neck hurt the next morning because holy shit those riffs are slow and chunky. You’d swear they were a doom band until they rip into their characteristic speed and precision — that is, until they go back to that heavy, chuggy refrain.
Seriously, if this is a herald of things to come, Revocation’s got some brutal shit brewing for their forthcoming release. I don’t know about you, but I’m here for this.
