Shadow Of Intent is back in a very, very vicious way. The band is now streaming their new single “Feeding The Meatgrinder” featuring Cannibal Corpse legend Corpsegrinder, whose lyrics (and accompanying music video by Norbert Crowfield) are pretty strictly anti-imperialist and anti-war.
What I really dig about this single is that it’s not just strictly deathcore – this feels extremely death-metal leaning. Which I guess makes sense if they wrote it with Corpsegrinder in mind.
“We couldn’t be more excited to kick off album 5 with this brand new track where we get to push our boundaries even further,” said Shadow Of Intent of the track. “A massive thank you to the great George Fisher aka Corpsegrinder for lending us his voice.”
