SHANE EMBURY’s DARK SKY BURIAL Launches North American Tour With NAPALM DEATH, MELVINS

Following the first ever-vinyl release of Dark Sky Burial, Shane Embury can’t wait to present the eclectic combination of his electronic experiments over the course of the North American tour with Melvins and Napalm Death. “I really enjoyed the first two Dark Sky Burial shows I did recently,” explains Embury.

The veteran of extreme music has been gravitating towards experimental music since the beginning of his career. “I now feel all that more confident. It was a great experience connecting with like-minded people who came and supported me I am very grateful to them for me now it can only keep improving…”

The upcoming dates across North America would be the first big showcase of the experimental side of Shane Embury. Dark Sky Burial is more than just another project. But a different, multi-layered one shaped through personal tragedies and a quest for truth. Embury believes DSB ignited in him meaning and urge to discover just who he truly is.

Shane states: “It’s a great opportunity for me to again gain more confidence and further my concepts – I have dreamed of developing the experimental side of me more for a long time now”.

The newest solo release from Shane Embury follows up the trajectory of the electronic experiments started by the musician with Dark Sky Burial, but in a different way. “To what’s come before and what’s also to come – this creative entity I have been forming has more than one tentacle and this album shows that.”

The Atonement LP continues what was started Dark Sky Burial. Not an extension of Dark Sky Burial but a companion. A hidden path through labyrinth of sounds, forms, dissonances and broken gravity laws.
