Single Dads Rejoice: Creed’s ‘Summer of ’99’ Cruise to Return with Filter, Oleander, and More

Well, I just heard the news today. IT seems the lives of anyone still nostalgic for high school or currently paying some combination of a mortgage and/or an alimony is gonna change. And that’s thanks to the fact that Grammy-winning rock outfit Creed just announced that they’re bringing back their ‘Summer of ’99 & Beyond’ Cruise next year.

Setting sail on the Norwegian Joy from Miami, Florida on April 17 and traveling to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas before coming back to port on April 21, this newly announced trip is the fourth official iteration of Creed’s nostalgia-tinged cruise. This time around, the cruise will feature “non-stop music from an star-powered lineup” comprised so far of the following artists:

  • Creed (performing two pool deck headline sets)
  • 3 Doors Down
  • Collective Soul
  • Filter
  • Living Colour
  • Black Stone Cherry
  • Oleander
  • 12 Stones
  • Tim Montana
  • Smile Empty Soul
  • (More artists to be announced at a later date)

Everything will be hosted by none other than Eddie Trunk and “The Power Hour”. Throughout the cruise, attendees will also be able to enjoy various experiences with the artists, different activities, and a whole lot more.

If you’ve ever been on a rock or metal cruise before, then you know that also means the boat will also be completely stocked with bars all over the damn place, numerous dining options, and a whole lot more amenities on the ship. Beyond what’s going on on deck, the cruise will also give guests the chance to embark on a “shore excursion” to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas.

If all that sounds awesome to you, then you should know that first available booking for past ‘Summer of ’99 & Beyond’ cruise attendees will start on April 23 and continues to April 24 at 11:59 p.m. EST. New attendees will get their first crack at bookings in their first round of pre-sales on April 25 until April 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Finally, the public will gain access to get their spot on the boat on May 2 at 2 p.m. EST. All you’ll need to reserve your booking is a $100 deposit per person when making reservations before August 17.
