Slayer’s Either Teasing a Pennsylvania Show or Getting in the Hershey Kisses Game

The legendary thrash band that totally will never tour again, Slayer, might be hinting at another live show in 2025. And judging by the social media account that posted the tease and the little animated short that goes along with it, it’s either looking like they’re going to be throwing down in the City of Brotherly Love or Hershey, Pennsylvania.

As you can see in the post shared below, Live Nation Philadelphia posted an animation of a buncha Hershey Kisses adorned in red wrapping throwing up the horns and forming a circle pit before rearranging themselves into the iconic Slayer logo. The band themselves collaborated on the post, so they’re directly involved with this too.

As far as hints go, it’s pretty heavy-handed, but what do I know? Slayer could just be announcing a new line of evil candies and they’ll be debuted in Hershey Park. Though my money’s on a show happening since, you know, it involves Live Nation.

So far, Slayer’s touri… I mean live show itinerary includes three shows in the U.K. this July, including the Black Sabbath send off show, a show in Québec City, and their rescheduled appearance at this year’s Louder Than Life festival in September.

My guess? They’re going to announce at least one show in the area ahead of their Louder Than Life appearance like a sort of warm-up gig, since there will be two months between their show in Canada and the festival. And hell, who knows? Maybe there’ll be a major tour announcement and we’ll all get to point and laugh at Kerry King for being so dead wrong about Slayer never ever touring again.
