Streaming Services Where You Can Watch Heavy Metal Music Videos

Heavy metal is a music genre that is not for everyone. Many find it too loud, aggressive, and overwhelming. But for us that love heavy metal, nothing beats the satisfaction of cranking up the volume while watching the official music videos of our favorite songs. Lucky for us, we don’t have to hunt down old DVDs or wait for some random TV special anymore. With all the streaming services right now, it has never been easier to watch heavy metal music videos. Some of our favorite MVs include Candle Mass by Bewitched and Sweating Bullets by Megadeth.

If you’re like us who love watching music videos rather than simply listening to the music itself, it’s understandable that you’re looking for streaming services where you can watch heavy metal music videos. Let’s start!

1. YouTube

Still, the top spot to find pretty much any heavy metal music video is YouTube. It’s the biggest video platform out there, and it’s got everything from heavy metal classics to new releases. To be honest, YouTube has had one of the biggest improvements when it comes to the platform, and rightfully so, since it’s now very easy to use and the quality of audio and video is way better than it used to be. It’s free (ad-supported), simple, and offers a lot of heavy metal content.

It’s actually the no-brainer option whenever you want to watch any music video for that matter. That way, you won’t need to spend several hours when TV streaming just to wait for your favorite heavy metal music’s MV to play.

2. Spotify

This might come as a surprise to most Spotify users, as this music streaming platform has always been known to only offer audio tracks. But guess what? They’ve stepped up their game and now have a bunch of music videos too, including some heavy metal ones. You won’t find as many as on YouTube, but if you’re already a Spotify fan, it’s super convenient to watch videos right there in the app. You don’t have to go to a different platform just to watch music videos (as long as it’s available though).

It’s very easy to use as well. You can have Spotify playing on your phone while you flip through channels on Dish TV, for example, or even connect it to your TV for a better streaming experience. You all probably know that Spotify is one of the biggest music streaming platforms right now, and they really earned it.

3. Apple Music

Spotify’s biggest competitor, of course. Apple Music isn’t known to offer music videos, but surprisingly enough, they do. And don’t worry if you’re not an Apple user because you can still subscribe to this streaming platform. That’s one misconception that not many are unaware of. You can even use Apple Music on your Android or computer. One edge Apple Music has over Spotify is its lossless audio. It’s perfect for heavy metal songs because you’ll be able to hear the song at its highest quality. It’s like you’re literally right there in the studio with the band. Amazing stuff, really. The subscription fee is decent and well worth it. Just manage your expectations as the music video selection can be quite limited.

Wrapping Up

It’s safe to say that many video and music streaming services are upping their games to keep up. Spotify and Apple Music adding music videos to their platforms isn’t something we’ve expected, yet here they are — and we’re all here for it. So, for your next heavy metal music video binge-watching, do give these streaming services a try if you haven’t yet!
