Regarding “Nós Somos Família”, Muir mentioned in a conversation with reporter Igor Miranda: “We had always discussed collaborating with other artists. I contacted Jay, we hit the studio, laid down a track. Then I reached out to some acquaintances. They asked, ‘Who should I invite?’ I provided a few names, and everyone gathered in the studio for the recording. Witnessing the enthusiasm and generosity of everyone involved, it was a truly wonderful experience.”

“In terms of music, people often talk about touring and whatnot, but I always emphasize that while you may see the sights from a hotel room or a moving vehicle, the real joy is when you feel at home in new places, welcomed into people’s lives, meeting their families, it’s truly special. And musically, having individuals I admire contribute to a track of mine is something I could never have imagined when I started out.”

“Nós Somos Família” was recorded at Estúdio Central in São Paulo, Brazil, and helmed by Alex Palaia. Production credits for “Nós Somos Família” go to Paul Northfield and Júnior Bass, with mastering by Northfield.
