I just wish the audience sang a bit more, I would definitely be singing every single chorus 😛

  2. (about min 8-10) "You take the high road, i take the low road" Ahemm … is this a Faroeic rendition of the Scottish folk song named 'Loch Lomond', popularized by 'Runrig' ?!?

this show looked epic and I wish I could have been there. This is coming from a long time fan of both you guys and amorphis who I've had the pleasure of seeing many times over the years. Faroe may be a small country but the level of talent that it has when it comes to music is incredible, not to mention, anytime I've met anyone from there, they seem to be some of the friendliest people I have met over the years. If only the people in the US were taught to act like that from a young age, then our country would be a much nicer place.

What an astoundingly amazing concert. Best integration of an orchestra with a metal band I have seen. Yes, better than s&m2. Wish I could have been there. Will have to settle for the dvd which I have promptly ordered.

And then lo and behold my favourite song off their latest album, torkils dotir, turns up in an orchestral version. Made my day.

Thank you Tyr for sharing this for free on youtube. I hope one day you will do this again with an orchestra. 5th year anniversary of this gig next year 😉 Will happily go pilgrimage to the Faroes to see it.

In a time where metal is all plageurisms of itself and all sounding the same, it is so amazing to have a band with a truly original musical sound, the roots of their music born of ancient culture and heritage, the sound of a million voices which transcended thousands of years to be adapted to modern metal at this moment in time. Thanks for all your hard work in providing something substantial, new, and different, to the music of the world.

Missing a bunch of my favourites from Asgaard and Ragnarok, but otherwise this has got to be one of the best live releases in recent years.

If Bach was alive in the modern era, he would've collaborated with metal bands and done concerts like this
